MCU: A Home Visit

Parson was waiting just outside, a small packet of juice in his hand, underneath the porch. It wasn't as good as live blood, but the source had only just bled out into it, so it was, at least, still warm. The boy was in the shade, watching the sky's colors change, though careful to never look at the sun directly. June would be here today.

The basement was tightly locked, Babbit hidden inside. The children's rooms had all been neatly cleaned and cleared of any paraphernalia that might get him in trouble. The child vampire was nervous that his stupid human sister's would mess up but it was okay. It would all be okay.

He waited for June, a smile on his face, ready to lead her around to the Veranda in the back to meet the boy's mother. Mother would make it okay. She and June were certain to get along.
